1. Are you available for our date? How do we secure our booking?

A: To reserve your wedding date, we require a signed agreement and an initial non-refundable retainer. Once booked, your date is secured and we turn away other potential clients for that same day.

A: I make every effort to be present at every wedding I book. In the rare event of an emergency, I will do my best to arrange a qualified replacement photographer from my trusted professional network.

However, if I’m unable to provide a suitable replacement, your initial payment will be fully refunded, since I would not be able to fulfill my commitment.

A: Unfortunately, no. The initial payment is used to secure your date, and once booked, we decline other inquiries for that date. For that reason, the retainer is non-refundable.

A: We typically don’t offer partial day coverage on weekends. For weekend weddings, we accept bookings that require at least 4–8 hours of coverage, or have a budget of $2,595 or more.
If it’s a last-minute request and the date is available, we may be able to make an exception.

A: Absolutely. Each of our cameras records to two memory cards simultaneously, and we back up all images on-site during your wedding.
We’ve never lost a wedding gallery thanks to this robust system.
That said, please understand that even with every precaution, digital files are never 100% risk-free — and that’s simply the nature of digital technology.

It may seem expensive, but you’re investing in far more than just someone showing up with a camera. Here’s what goes into it:

  1. Time Commitment
A wedding day typically involves 8–12 hours of coverage, but editing your photos afterward requires 30–60+ hours of post-production work.
  2. Skill & Experience
A professional photographer handles difficult lighting, keeps the day on track, and captures fleeting moments — all under pressure, with no second chances.
  3. Equipment & Backup Gear
We use top-tier cameras, lenses, lighting, and editing tools — often worth tens of thousands of dollars — and we bring backups for everything.
  4. Business Costs
Your investment also covers insurance, assistants, editing software, marketing, travel, and more behind-the-scenes expenses.
  5. Once-in-a-Lifetime Event
Unlike a portrait session, a wedding can’t be redone. That pressure and responsibility require a pro who can deliver consistently, no matter what.
  6. Final Deliverables
Many clients receive not just digital files, but custom albums, prints, or USBs, which involve additional time, materials, and production.

Bottom line: You’re not just paying for a service — you’re investing in peace of mind, experience, and lasting memories.

Hope to have the privilege to be your photographer and do the best pictures of your life!
